So, the election is (mostly) over, and here’s the takes:
- The House is blue. The Senate is red. The country is still f*cked.
- Nevada has fully embraced centrist Democrats and it beats the alternative.
- Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) is going to be a Senator and all she had to do was take horrible positions on every issue.
- Florida voters bloc decided that felons should be able to vote, greyhound racing is wrong, offshore drilling is bad, and Republicans Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott best represent their interests. So you can either believe, a.) Floridians en masse are capable of making nuanced, complex, thoughtful decisions that thread the needle between issues and candidates and appear to be inherently in conflict, or, b.) Republicans cheated.
